Today we are continuing to talk about money trees. The money tree was found in 1990, at the Han Dynasty site at Hejiashan on the outskirts of Mianyang. It reflects the ancient people´s desire to be rich and happy in their lifetimes and to ascend to heaven in the afterlife. It was kept in Mianyang museum. Back in 1998 a money trees sold for 2.5million US dollar in New York. To the end of last century a number cases smuggling involving money trees were reported abroad. Back in China several archeologists set about researching the money trees.
